PATHWAYS TO MATURITY CLASSES:
How do I become a Christian? How do I become a member here? Where can I get involved in serving? These are some of the most common questions asked by newcomers. Maybe you’re new yourself and have similar questions. If so, we have just what you’re looking for.
Our Pathways classes will help you answer some of the basic questions about life, salvation, church membership, church involvement, Christian growth, and evangelism.
At Bailey we know it’s easy to get lost in the shuffle when joining a new church. That’s why we want to help you along your pathway to maturity by taking you through the key steps to spiritual growth.
These classes, offered periodically throughout the year, will lead you to a stronger walk with Jesus and help you become all He wants you to be.
First Step - Our “First Step” class deals with the basics of what it means to give your life to Christ and His church. We look at two commitments in this step: 1) to become a Christian and 2) to become a church member. [Leader: Daren Penwell]
(Classes will be held yearly: January, April, August, October)
Second Step - The “Second Step” takes you further in your walk with Christ. In this class we look at the essentials for growth as a Christian: Bible Study, Prayer, Giving, etc. You will learn what it takes to mature as a Christian. [Leader: Dan Wheat]
(Classes will be held: September and March)
Third Step - As you take the “Third Step,” you will be making a commitment to finding the area in which God can best use you. This class will help you discover your place in God’s Family here at Bailey. We believe that every member ought to have a ministry and that God has uniquely gifted you to serve Him in some way here. [Leader: Jason Ross]
(Classes will be held: TBA)
Fourth Step - In this fourth step you will discover how to “complete the cycle” by learning to lead someone else to Christ. This class focuses on evangelism and missions. While some are more gifted than others in this area, we believe that all of us are called to reach the lost for Jesus. [Leader: Dave VanderZanden]
(Classes will be held: May)
ADULT BIBLE CLASSES &
SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES FOR CHILDREN:
