Nursery

For newborns through 2 years of age.  Our goal is to provide a safe, fun and loving environment so that you can be confident your child is well taken care of while you spend time in worship with us.  With your help, we hope to continually improve our special ministry to your family.  Relax and enjoy your time with us.  Your infant will be well taken care of.

Toddlers

Our goals in the toddler ministry are to help children aged 2-3 years with their early education about God and what He has done/is doing for us & help them adjust from the “play time” in the nursery environment to “class time”.  You can rest assured that your toddler will be well taken care of!

K-4th grade

The mission of Bailey Christian church children's ministry is to work together to show children the love of god and teach them how to live out their faith, and grow into spiritually mature adults.

How do we do this!

1.  Volunteer mentoring and rrelationship: children learn by watching.  so we need Godly men and women who will serve in our children's ministry, who will love them, have fun with them and teach them.

2.  Teching Bible truths: we want children to know the books of the Bible, the importance of memorizing scripture and to be familiar with Bible stories and how to find them.

3.  Service: living out their faith by "doing"! We want children to know that they have a living faith.  We will live it out by making speial projects to give away, visiing the eldely or sick, servin g in the church and other outreach opportunities.

4.  Pryaer: We want adults praying for our children on a daily basis.  We also want to teach our children to pray and have a personal walk with their Father

Colossians 1:28

“We spread the message about Christ as we instruct and teach everyone with profound common sense.  We want to present everyone as mature Christian people.”

Here's what's Happening!

Children's Church:  To fulfill our mission we believe the best way for chrildren to learn  is in an environment best suited for them.  We offer children's church for K-4th during our worship on Sunday mornings so children can learn through lessons geared age appropriate.  Children learn different form adults, so we teach the Bible through different ways of learning while having some fun too!  We also feel it's important for children to worship with their families and learn with them.  Therefore, the third Sunday of each month there is NO children's church.

Bible School: Sunday morning does not end when we leave the sancturay!  From 10:00 - 10:45 am we continue our fellowship and learning.  We offer Bible classes for all ages, from pre-school to audlt.  This is a time to dig deeper into God's word in a smaller setting.  This time creates a foundation of faith on which
the rest of our programs for kids is built.  Don't let you or your children miss this imporatant time!

Faith Weaver Friends: This is our mid-week program.  Wednesday's from 6:45-8:00 pm we offer a time to get reconnected and spiritually refreshed to finish the week!  We learn Bible truths through reading and acting out the Bible, games, crafts and service projects.  We focus on Bible memorization and have fun earning rewards for our hard wark.  We also have family time, similar to Care Groups, where the children have time to share and pray for one another with an adult family leader.

Rock Lake Christian Assembly:  This can be a life changing time for your child.  At RLCA they will have a blast making friends, swimming, playing games, making crafts, but most importantly they will learn lessons from God's Word.  They will worship every day and learn how to grow in their relationship with God from camp faculty that are there to care for them and want them to become more like Jesus.  The church offers scholarships for regular attendess. Watch for information beiginning in April.

Children's Church (formerly Mustard Seeds)

Children from K-4th grade are welcome to join us upstairs for worship and teaching at their level.  During the school year children will be upstairs through the whole service.  During the summer, however, we change things up.  We enjoy having our kids worship with our church family downstairs on Sunday
mornings during the summer months. We want children to learn to worship God next to and from the most important adults in their lives: their parents. We ask that you use this time to teach and encourage your children to participate.  We don’t expect them to just sit with their hands folded.
We also know there are parts of the service that they are too young to participate in. Therefore, just before the sermon begins they will be dismissed to go
upstairs for a time of lessons and activities geared to their age. On the third Sunday of every month we all stay together to give our teachers and children a chance to participate in the complete worship service.
