Our youth ministry exists to seek the lost, connect them with God, to catalyze growth in their relationship with Jesus Christ, and expose their gifts and talents, that they may change the world for Christ.

     “Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.”  1 Timothy 4:12                                                                               

    These are familiar words to Timothy from Paul that our ministry focuses on. Just like Paul, we dare our students to be God lovers and leaders not just in the youth group, not just in the church, but in the world!

Here’s what’s going on

For all Teens:

SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP- Bailey Christian Church has two worship services: one at 8:30 am and the other at 11:00 am. Be sure to attend one of our services. They are designed to provide everyone with an opportunity to thank God for His work in our lives!

SUNDAY SCHOOL- Directly following the 8:30 am morning worship, you are encouraged to join a Sunday School class.  The middle school meets downstairs and the high school meets upstairs.

VARIOUS RETREATS- We usually have 1 or 2 overnight retreats at various locations during the year to
“refuel our tanks.”

Velocity - Middle School Only! (5-8th Grades)

WEDNESDAY NIGHT YOUTH GROUP- This is a night of worship, hands on lessons, games, and lots of fun with friends. Each night Middle School Students are divided into their small groups to study scripture, pray, and share their lives with each other in order to build deeper relationships. Don’t miss this great opportunity to give your week a jolt of energy!

SUPERSTART!- This is an event put on by CIY (Christ in Youth) designed just for 5th & 6th grade students. It is a weekend of high energy worship, lessons, and hang out times with other students of the same age.

BELIEVE- Calling all 7th & 8th grade students. This is another event put on by CIY aimed at helping connect students with their loving God. This is done through worship, interactive lessons, activities, fellowship, and fun. Please join us as we get away for a weekend to celebrate and learn about God.

The Vine Senior High Only! (9-12th Grades)

SUNDAY NIGHT YOUTH GROUP- Join us at the church for a time of fellowship with other high school  students as we learn what it means to be a Christian and how to live that out. We encourage any and every high school student to come and see what we’re about.

MINISTRY TEAMS- All senior high students are encouraged to be involved in a specific area of ministry. Get involved with grade school kids, nursery, pre-schoolers, media, worship, missions and many more.

MICHIGAN STATEWIDE TEEN CONVENTION- This event is held in March in Lansing, MI. 600+ Christian teens spend a weekend in a hotel learning about a special theme through activities, worship, and interactive lessons. This is a great time to get away in the middle of the school year. Don’t miss it!

MOVE (held by CIY)- MOVE is a highlight of our year! Held in June, MOVE involves over 1000 Christian teens in a life changing week. We would love to have all high schoolers attend with us.

MISSION TRIPS- We teach our students to be involved both within the community as well as the world. We do several special trips to help connect our students with God’s people around the globe.
