Men - Mark your calendars! September 11th will be a paintball war. If you have equipment that our men could borrow for this outing, please let Mark Lovett or Martin Schutter know. Please sign up so we can get an idea of how many are interested.
Got questions? We've got answers! This fall Daren plans to do a sermon series based on questions from the church family. Have you ever had a question about God, the Bible, the world, etc. that you just never had an opportunity to ask? Ever had a question that has caused you doubts and fears? The church ought to be a safe place to ask the tough questions in life, so...ask away! And together we will attempt to get to the bottom of some of life's stickiest questions.
Youth Group’s will be starting soon! FaithWeaver Friends (K-4th) will start on Wednesday, September 15th from 6:45-8pm, downstairs. Velocity (5th-8th grade) will start the same evening, upstairs. The Vine (high school) will be starting next week September 12th from 6-7:30pm in the teen room, upstairs. Any questions, please call Lisa Penwell or Jason Ross @ 834-5919.
Join Us for Our Fall Kick-Off Promo SS! Join us Sunday, September 12th during the Sunday school hour in the worship area as we unfold plans for the coming year, including Care Groups, Sunday school changes, youth group events and other exciting plans for the coming year. This is a great chance for those who are new, as well as long-time attendees, to get on the same "page" as we head into the fall.

Prayer through service- Anyone interested in praying through our 8:30am or 11:00am services during the month of September, please sign up in the back. As we get ready to “kick-off” our fall programs, as schools begin and as we head into fall we want to be praying for our students, our leadership, our building campaign, our community, our state & our nation. Prayer is so important and God has called us to talk with him in prayer and lift each other up. Please consider being a part of this important ministry.
SuperStart is a two-day event held at Kentwood Christian Church put on by Christ In Youth that is specifically for 5th and 6th graders. During the event, SuperStart wishes to provide avenues for age-appropriate worship, relevant teaching, drama, and fun. You can expect the weekend to be filled with Biblical teaching, worship, enthusiasm, small group opportunities and off-site recreation. The date is October 22-23, 2010 and cost is $65 which includes all event sessions, zone activities, program materials, and housing. All money is due Sunday, September 26th. Sign up and pick up a payment envelope on the back table. Questions? Contact Jason.
Food Distribution - BCC along with Feeding America West Michigan Food Bank, will be handing out food to those in need on Saturday, September 18th from 2-3pm @ BCC. Anyone interested in helping, please sign up in the back. Volunteers should be here by 1:15pm to help setup. Questions can be directed to Mark & Anna Lovett.
